The Problem With Doors Nowadays
Most doors today rely too heavily on one central contact point,
such as a doorknob. This facilitates the spread of germs and
can make doors inaccessible or hard to use for disabled people.
Most doors have these problems in common because they

Target Market
The Door-O-Matic can be used on any non-industrial ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
compliant doors and be purchased by anyone. However, we aim to sell to business owners, people with
physical disabilities, and homeowners. These can be implemented in businesses at entrances, restrooms,
between rooms, for offices, etc. They can also be implemented on any door that is commonly used
in the daily life of a homeowner or physically disabled user.
We surveyed each of these target groups and received some feedback about their personal needs.
